SDCC 2016: The first trailer for DC's "Justice League" is here!

In the video, Affleck reprises his role as the billionaire vigilante as he tracks down the future members of his alliance.

One notable highlight of the teaser involves Affleck's Bruce Wayne recruiting Ezra Miller's Barry Allen, aka The Flash. Well. not exactly. Those who watched Batman v Superman know that (spoiler alert) Superman died at the end of that film so he would not be able to appear in the first Justice League movie.

The Justice League has more than one origin story, in fact, there are many plots including one in which Batman and Superman are not in the league.

Starring Gal Gadot as Diana Prince and directed by Patty Jenkins, it's time for the world to witness a female superhero from a famous comic book adaptation after a long time in the summer of 2017. Miller looked to have been wandering the con in disguise as Gandalf the Grey as this was his first comic con as well as Fisher's, who sported a "Borg Life" t-shirt.

The previous DC film to arrive in theaters, Batman v Superman, tackled the repercussions of Superman's catastrophic Metropolis battle with Zod in Man of Steel.

More news: First Zika Case Confirmed In Lexington

Justice League Trailer Builds an Eclectic, Wise-Cracking TeamZack Snyder's superheroes find objective and a sense of humor. Even Aquaman's costume, which you can see in the promo image, is dark as all hell.

The clips are full of light-hearted moments and jokes, which feels like a sharp departure from the far darker tone of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Also thrown in the mix is the logo for the Justice League itself.

In the trailer, we see a lot.

There was additionally a surprise glimpse of "Spider-Man: Homecoming", with very early footage from the film due for release on July 7 next year showing Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland.

Animators recreated the Comic-Con panel setup in a short sketch that included a Lego version of panel moderator Conan O'Brien asking Lego Batman, Lego Joker and Lego Robin about the new film, in which Batman tackles fatherhood.
