Clinton campaign chief and Bernie Sanders vow: 'We've joined forces'

Hillary Clinton has addressed this several times on the campaign trail.

This story runs counter to the claim that Clinton wanted the presidency for herself. Other speakers included President Barack Obama's wife, Michelle Obama.

"Anything is possible", Obama said in an interview on NBC's "Today" show.

Most of the protesters also believe that Clinton's nomination will split the Democratic Party in half. Just 21 percent said they are more excited, while the rest said they remain about the same.

"I have nothing to do with Russian Federation", he exclaimed in a free-flowing news conference at his resort in Florida. But I'm old enough to know how close to unimaginable it would have been not that long ago, and enough of a feminist to know how big a deal it is. Vice President Joe Biden will deliver his valedictory.

Yet there is a large gap in how Trump and Clinton supporters describe her views. Tim Kaine, will get his turn in the spotlight.

Hillary Clinton was affirmed as the party's nominee Tuesday night at a convention that appeared to be finding its stride as it focused on appealing to the coalition Clinton will need to win - blacks, Hispanics, women and young people - and putting to bed the drama of formally defeating liberal challenger Bernie Sanders.

"He just had his convention, that's a high point", she explained.

Trump accused Democrats of avoiding talking about the Islamic State group "because they grew it". "Are they gonna put a bunch of money toward building a wall that's never going to freakin' work?" The unhappiest among his followers filed out, occupied a media tent and staged a sit-in, some with tape on their mouths to signify their silencing by the party. "As of yesterday, I guess, officially our campaign ended". But he was running to break the iron grip that woman had had on being spouse of the president. "We won't vote for Hillary!" And as she had been doing since she went to Beijing in 1995 and said women's rights are human rights and human rights are women's rights...

This time, Clinton shattered the glass ceiling she couldn't crack in 2008.

The first part of Bill Clinton's speech was a love story interwoven with his wife's resume. Unsavory episodes, like his numerous dalliances with women in Arkansas and the almost career-ending liaison with White House intern Monica Lewinsky, were omitted. The former president recalled proposing to wife and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton three times before she said yes. She's a doer, a "change maker", someone who opened the 42nd President of the United States' eyes "to a whole new world of public service by private citizens". "That leader is Hillary Clinton", said Klobuchar.

She spoke by video link after the vote of all 50 states at the party's convention in Philadelphia.

Bill Clinton assumed his potential role as first gentleman - as many in the Twittersphere noted - during his Democratic National Convention speech on Tuesday, July 26.

Former Democratic presidential candidate, Sen.

Since the beginning of the Democratic Convention hundreds of people have protested outside and inside the Wells Fargo Center against the Democratic National Committee after a chain of emails was leaked earlier this week showing that the party meant to find ways to undermine Bernie Sanders' campaign and favor Clinton's.
