The Walking Dead: Does this mean this fan-favourite is Negan's victim?

The Walking Dead loves to mess with us, remember #IsGlennDeadGate?

While there has been some potential evidence of a couple characters that might be safe from death, the show dropped a trailer at San Diego Comic-Con that reminded anyone could bite the dust - and now we're afraid it might be Norman Reedus' Daryl Dixon!

Anyone who's ever watched more than one episode of "The Walking Dead" will instantly recognize that vest as part of Daryl's signature outfit, which he was actually wearing in the penultimate episode before getting shot in the shoulder.

But a new preview clip for the upcoming seventh season, which debuted during a special episode of The Talking Dead on August 14, may suggest Daryl's fate. If Negan did kill Daryl it would certainly take Rick down a peg too, which was Negan's whole aim. We had to clarify just so rumors didn't start swirling about Season 7's plot heading back to Atlanta, which will not be the case. And others have pointed out that if AMC is showing this scene, it pretty much guarantees that Daryl did not die in Negan's lineup.

In it, we find the facially scarred Dwight, played by Austin Amelio, who was upgraded to a series regular character.

That seemed to be the general consensus of fans following "The Walking Dead's" cruel season six finale cliffhanger, but a new trailer has lovers of the crossbow- wielding zombie killer a bit anxious.

Hardwick read off a letter from showrunner Scott M. Gimple, saying we know the beginning and it's nearly here, but it is a beginning. Though otherwise fairly uneventful, some objects present in the video has cause some to believe that fan favorite Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) have been killed-off, or in fact be the one that Negan killed. Yes, there will be blood, Gimple said, but also. cobbler.
