Manchester United fans, look away now.

'Tomorrow, Monday at 1:30pm, Gareth Bale will appear at a press conference in the media room at the Santiago Bernabéu'. Negotiations over a new deal for the Portuguese have not yet been finalised.

With Real Madrid shirt, Bale has won two Champions (2013-2014 and 2015-2016), one Copa del Rey (2013-2014) and two European Super Cup (2014-2015 and 2016-2017).

But he's since adapted superbly and was arguably Real Madrid's most important player in their run to La Undecima (an 11th Champions League crown) last season.

Bale has scored 62 goals and recorded 34 assists in 135 official games for the Spanish giants, forming part of the team's much-vaunted "BBC" strikeforce alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema. The Welshman signed with Real Madrid four years ago from Tottenham Hotspur by an amount of €100M.
