Wild Boars Ambush And Kill Three ISIS Members

A group of rampaging wild boars attacked Islamic State (ISIS) jihadists who were planning to ambush anti-ISIS Iraqi tribesmen.

The attack took place in the al-Rashad region of Iraq near Kirkuk, with the source adding that "Daesh (Islamic State) militants took revenge at the pigs that attacked the farmland".

He said the incident had happened on Sunday shortly after the militants had put 25 people to death in Hawija. "Mad Dog" Mattis, trained for combat.

'It is likely their movement disturbed a herd of wild pigs, which inhabit the area as well as the nearby cornfields'.

The wild boars have not yet released a statement claiming responsibility for the attack. In August previous year, the group massacred 85 civilians in Hawija as an apparent show of strength.

Operation OKRA is part of the worldwide anti-ISIS campaign led by the U.S. More than 800 ADF troops have reportedly been deployed to the Middle East to support the said campaign.

Kirkuk Governor, Najmaldin Karim insisted to the Iraqi army and government to free Hawija.

According to Iraqi News, ISIS has held areas surrounding Kirkuk since 2014 - resulting to thousands of civilians fleeing the region.

ISIS, or the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, is based in Syria since 1999. He said the refugees did not see any weapons with the bodies, suggesting they had come unarmed.

There are almost a half-million people are still thought to be trapped in an ever-shrinking area of the city along with an estimated 2,000 remaining Islamic State fighters.
