In bid to cash in on Baahubali mania, the distributors released the film in over 8,000 screens around the world on April 28. The day 6 of the release accumulated Rs. 792 crores.

As per early imagination, leading Film trade analyst Ramesh Bala stated that the motion picture collected Rs.630 crores(Rs.495 crores net) in India, Rs.155 crores in overseas.

Further the cliffhanger "Why Katappa Killed Baahubali" worked wonders and made everyone eager for Baahubali: The Conclusion.

On the 7th day (Thursday), Baahubali 2 did the great box office business of Rs. 30-35 crores (all languages), with the 7th-day box office collection the film ended the first week on the high note.

Prabhas-Rana Daggubati starrer, the SS Rajamouli directorial, "Baahubali 2" is making records on a daily basis since its release. Baahubali 2 is the sequel of the first part of the franchise Baahubali: The Beginning.

"Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" also stars Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan and Nassar in key roles.
