Chelsea not complacent ahead of West Brom tie, says Cahill

Should Conte's side beat a West Brom team with little to play for they will become champions with two games to go.

Should Chelsea seal the Premier League title on Friday night, the team will be able to take their foot off the gas somewhat when they host Watford and then already-relegated Sunderland at Stamford Bridge next week.

After switching to a 3-4-2-1 system, the Blues have been playing at an extremely high level, and Conte is very close to tasting success in his first season in England.

"We're looking forward to the game, the players have been very good this week". "This was a big, big step for us".

"Now we need to do another step".

Middlesbrough's caretaker-manager, Steve Agnew, said: "We've had 36 games and we have two to go and it's been a really tough season".

Cahill accepts some of the tension has lifted since Tottenham's defeat at the hands of West Ham last week but says Chelsea are not getting carried away just yet. They're going for the title and we've still got things to play for ourselves.

"At that moment we had a lot of pressure, but in that moment my players showed me great commitment, great focus, desire to overcome this moment and to try to win the league".

"It's important because we earned to live this moment with good excitement".

"We are very close to reach a great target". It's a Premier League football club in terms of everything about it.

Now Conte is on course for a double, with the Blues facing Arsenal in the FA Cup final on May 27.

The main man of the match was Cesc Fabregas, who masterfully organized Chelsea's offense, proving that he still didn't forget to play football no matter many critics coming from different sides.

Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas was in sublime form and his superb passing range meant that Chelsea created plenty of chances. At the start (he) didn't play a lot.

"It's not easy and people told me I'm not the type of player for Antonio and that I should leave, but I like challenges".

"That's helped us this time, having the experience of that".
