Passengers Get Into Fist Fight On Southwest Flight

Just as the plane hit the tarmac, two men began throwing haymakers in the aisle.

The seemingly unending chaos on airlines continued after two passengers got into fight on a Southwest Airlines flight moments after it landed in Burbank, reports say.

The victim suffered a chipped tooth, a contusion to his left eye, and a cut on his nose, police said.

The suspect has been identified as 37-year-old Chaze Mickalo Cable.

Burbank police told the news station that one person had been arrested for assault and battery.

The video shows a female flight attendant rushing in but ending up in the seat with the men slugging it out on top of her. Others pulled him back, enabling the second passenger to get up and punch his assailant repeatedly until fellow travelers intervened.

Krause heard the commotion, grabbed his cell phone and started recording.

What sparked the melee was not immediately clear.

Southwest issued expressing gratitude to employees who reacted quickly to break up the fight, calling its employees "everyday heroes" trained to de-escalate conflict.

The incident is just the latest in a miserable series of viral incidents to take place on airplanes - a list which now includes bloodied passengers, cancelled flights and dead rabbits, according to reports.
