Assassin's Creed: Origins Gameplay Trailer Has Been Revealed at E3 2017

Following the game's official reveal at the Xbox E3 2017 press conference, Ubisoft released the first screenshots of Assassin's Creed Origins.

Over the past four years, the team at Ubisoft Montreal, author of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, worked to give a new start to the series. Since then, Microsoft has made 9 GB of GDDR5 RAM available for games so let's see how that impacts Assassin's Creed Origins. Moreover, the title is going to support HDR. A revamped narrative experience allows total freedom for players to choose and complete quests at their own pace, each telling an intense and emotional story full of colorful characters and meaningful objectives.

As previously leaked, the game has a Skyrim-style compass at the top of the screen rather than a mini-map. Apart from that, the source also shared that the new title will have more than one playable character, a day-and-night cycle, and a new battle system.

The main protagonist, as most should know by now, is indeed Bayek, who has been the subject of numerous leaks.

The latest in a string of Assassin's Creed Origins leaks has revealed perhaps our biggest cache of information on the unannounced game yet, including the fact you'll be able to ride camels.

Assassin's Creed Origins is set to release on October 27th for PC, Xbox One and PS4 and you can view the new trailer and gameplay footage below.

Assassin's Creed Origins will run on the Xbox One X at 4K resolution, making the graphics crisper than previous games as well!

And for all things E3, stay tuned to IGN's E3 2017 hub. Bayek is the Sheriff from Ancient Egypt and can do all of the assassinations of the people who are doing unsafe work. If the combat had put you off the series in the past, Origins looks like it might do enough to bring you back in.
