Lakers Rumors: Does Josh Jackson Have A Draft Promise From Los Angeles?

The Los Angeles Lakers hosted Lonzo Ball for a two-day visit last week, and one report claimed they were not overly impressed with the former UCLA star.

2 pick in this year's NBA Draft and the latest rumor is the team could have Kansas forward Josh Jackson in their sights.

As for what he wanted to show the Lakers, Fox made note of his competitiveness, and penchant for hard work. Gambadoro doesn't appear to know which team promised Jackson, but only that he has been promised.

Fox is a silky-smooth lefty point guard who can play well in the pick-and-roll. "But you're still going to get the most out of me". But if pre-draft workouts count, then it isn't off to the best start. That rarely has been an issue with Fox, who is considered the best defender in this year's draft class.

The Lakers generally liked Jackson's energy and shooting in his first workout, while cautioning themselves about the difficulty of evaluating any player in an individual workout. I'm just about wrapping it up right now.

Fantasy Impact: Smith is a solid National Basketball Association ready point guard who averaged over 18 points per game and over six assists per game at NC State last season. This doesn't mean the Lakers won't select Ball, but they want to be sure they have seen all of the other options before deciding on him. In fact, the Lakers might have given Jackson a promise they'll draft him.

"My outlook is it was already written", Smith Jr. said on his draft stock. "I feel like I can fill that hole". "College is over. I just kind of put that behind me". Ball makes everyone around him better not only because of his passing but the way he spreads the court open.

"I always hated losing and loved winning", Jackson said. "No matter who's in front of you - no matter if it's defense, offense, rebounding".
