Samsung Galaxy Note 8 launches August 23

Invitations have now been sent out for the official launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which will take place at an event in NY on August 23. Samsung, meanwhile, just sent out invitations for a Samsung Unpacked event on August 23, where it will unveil the new Galaxy Note 8.

Samsung also put out an image as well, which reveals outline of smartphone with no bezels on the sides and a stylus.

The standard version of the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) comes with a metal body and a bigger 5.5-inch full HD (1280x1920 pixel) Super AMOLED display.

The Korean tech giant will be hoping that the Galaxy Note 8 is far more successful than its predecessor - the Note 7 that has been rebranded and is on sale in South Korea.

There has been numerous leaks on the Note 8's design and capabilities. The tweet was promoting Samsung's Exynos 8895 CPU, the same chip that powers the Galaxy S8.

Samsung is apparently paying the Chinese smartphone market some special attention, as the latest leaks of the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) confirms. This means the Galaxy Note 8 will have an Infinity display with an aspect ratio of 18:9:5.

Samsung Electronics has sent out invitations for August 23 unpacking of next phablet succeeding the ill-fated Galaxy Note7.

Samsung is yet to provide the link to the livestream, but we expect this to go live closer to the launch itself.

Fans have speculated that this could be the first look at the eagerly-awaited Galaxy Note 8. The sensors are said to be a 12MP wide-angle lens along with a 13MP telephoto lens at the back. #Exynos will get things done.

SlashLeaks, a platform for leak lovers where users track and share leaks, has a new render of the device that matches gadget and accessory maker Olixar's Galaxy Note 8 cases.

Onsen added Samsung may even increase the price depending on market conditions at the time of launch.

The phone will have 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Are you excited for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8? The company confirmed the arrival of the new handset and announced its official launch date. This doesn't came as a surprise the smartphone will compete with the devices in the high-end segment, which includes the yet-to-be launched Apple iPhone 8, and LG V30.
