Dragon Ball FighterZ Is Getting An Epic Collector's Edition

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Bandai Namco will host a closed beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ on September 16th to 18th for PS4, Xbox One and PC. A story mode was confirmed to be included in Dragon Ball FighterZ too, featuring scenarios that are not canon to the overarching Dragon Ball narrative and a snippet of which we get to see in today's trailer. Not really worth it, especially given how disappointing having Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta as their own separate characters rather than just power-ups. With the resurrection of Android 16 and the invasion of the mysterious army corps, the super warriors starts to fall. The fighting looks so fluid and this is one of those times where I'm trying not to get too hyped up for what I'm seeing on a trailer but I have to tell you it's there. The battle mode allows for six players to fight on a stage with one character, allowing for a 3vs3 battle. Xbox One owners can do so via the Insider app on their system whereas PlayStation 4 owners can sign up here.

Outdoor stages have always been popular choices for "Dragon Ball" games and there is a good chance that at least a few more of them may end up in "FighterZ". Leaving the over usage of the letter Z aside, this edition includes an impressive 18cm (7in) tall Goku statue, three art boards, a copy of the game, and a steelbook case.

For example, last year's "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" contained stages that could easily make the cut for the new fighting game.
