Chelsea agree fee of £35mwith Arsenal for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement with league rivals Chelsea to sell England worldwide Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, 24, is out of contract at the end of the season and has attracted interested from Chelsea and Liverpool.

England worldwide Oxlade-Chamberlain turned down the chance to extend his contract at the Emirates Stadium last week, rejecting a deal which would have seen him earn around £180,000 a week.

According to Daily Mail, the Stamford Bridge club have agreed a fee worth 35 million pounds ($45million) with the Gunners for the transfer of the England global.

The Mirror says Wenger is facing a crisis as even Arsenal players have become disillusioned at the lack of change at the club.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ross Barkley, Danny Drinkwater and Fernando Llorente are the most likely players to sign for Chelsea FC although others are also in the mix. So he could compete with Moses at Chelsea.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has made 198 appearances for the Gunners since joining them from Southampton in August 2011.

"If he wants to play midfield in an attacking role, because I think that is where he wants to play, but at Chelsea that's Willian or Pedro".

The Gunners are poised to approve exits for the likes of Mathieu Debuchy, Kieran Gibbs, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Lucas Perez, whilst there continues to be interest in Alexis Sanchez and Shkodran Mustafi. "And can he really be guaranteed a starting place above those players?"

According to the Times on Tuesday, Liverpool are still very much in the race to sign the Arsenal star.

But Solhekol adds that Liverpool are still in the running to land him.
