Packers-Cowboys final play nearly gave us craziest ending in National Football League history

In the process, they may have found a solution to their backfield woes, as rookie running back Aaron Jones exploded for 125 rushing yards and a touchdown Sunday.

It would've been way too easy to go with the Cowboys defense this week for the bad, but I think they actually did enough to win this game. The march required a reviewed spot on an Ezekiel Elliott fourth-and-1 run, but it showed Elliott reached the ball over the Packers' 19-yard line, extending the Cowboys' drive.

If Cowboys fans felt like they were watching the same game as last week against the Los Angeles Rams, their feelings are pretty spot on.

The Cowboys jumped out to a 21-6 lead thanks to three touchdown passes by second-year quarterback Dak Prescott.

The key to longevity of the final drive was a clutch 3rd and eight play at Dallas' 31 yard-line Rodgers converted.

But in a painfully familiar finish, it was the visiting Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers who once again came away with the victory, winning 35-31 in front of a sold-out crowd of 93,329.

The 2-3 Cowboys, who could see Eliott's fate decided as soon as Monday, enter the bye licking fourth quarter wounds for the second consecutive week and looking way up at the 4-1 Eagles. The Cowboys got terrific pass rusher David Irving (two sacks) back in the lineup after his suspension, got Zeke Elliott untracked for 116 yards after a quiet second half against the Rams last week and further extended the maturity and growth of Prescott.

The Packers struggled to find their footing in the first half.

If he did, the outcome of the game - a 35-31 Packers win over the Cowboys - could have been a lot different.

What's the difference between Rodgers' second comeback win this year and his first?

Rodgers then masterfully led a nine-play, 75-yard drive while staring into the setting sun.

Aaron Rodgers does it again.

Back in January, he led Green Bay down the field for the winning field goal with less time on the clock than that.

Cornerback Jimmy Smith scored on a 47-yard fumble return in the first quarter for the Ravens (3-2), who moved into a tie with the Pittsburgh Steelers for first place in the AFC North.

During Sunday's game, Nelson hauled in a pair of receptions for 24 yards, one of which went for a touchdown. With the score 21-12 at the break, Dallas was in good shape...until they weren't.

Rodgers finished with 221 passing yards and three touchdowns, tossing to Adams seven times for 66 yards and two scores. The drive was capped off with a fade to Adams in the left side of the end zone to win the game. I hit Davante on a back shoulder to start the whole drive. He also rushed for a TD to put the Cowboys ahead with a little over a minute left in the game. And yes, I do believe that one single play can have that much of an impact on the outcome of any game.
