Selena Gomez and The Weeknd Break Up

A source told People magazine that while they had lost touch for a while, they were communicating again as Bieber was concerned about Gomez following her kidney transplant in September. The Weeknd has also unfollowed some members of Selena's inner circle, including her BFF and life-saving kidney donor Francia Raisa, though he still follows Gomez at the time of publication.

It comes as Selena Gomez has been seen hanging out with ex Justin Bieber on a number of occasions. "It's been hard with him being on tour and her in NY".

And on Monday, Selena Gomez couldn't have looked happier about things.

Gomez was spotted spending time with her ex Justin Bieber at a Los Angeles-area breakfast spot this weekend, sending fans into a tailspin debating the pros and cons of a potential Jelena reunion. Gomez said that the panic attacks and anxiety she has suffered over the years are linked to her lupus.

The Weeknd reportedly prioritised his career over his relationship with Selena Gomez.

While TMZ reported on October 24 that Justin Bieber had been hanging out with Selena Gomez at her house, it was also reported that The Weeknd was totally fine with it, and was not present because he is now on tour.

But "Justin always had her heart and attention", the source said.

The source continued: "Selena and Justin realized it was time to grow past their history and move on". (Though it's a pretty patented Biebs hangout move.) But according to People, Justin knows he's got a long way to go in getting Selena's family and friends back on board with their own relationship, friendship or otherwise. "They think he caused Selena a lot of grief", says a Bieber pal.

Selena is hesitating is because of her and Justin's tumultuous relationship history.
