Woman loses job after giving President Trump the middle finger

A woman who gave President Donald Trump the middle finger after he left his golf club in Sterling on October 28 has been fired over the gesture, according to media reports.

A photo taken from behind by AFP photographer Brendan Smialowski shows Briskman's impromptu protest as black Secret Service SUVs maneuver around her bike.

Despite losing her job, Briskman is anything but remorseful.

Briskman spent six months at Akima, working in the marketing and communications division.

To add insult to injury, Briskman told the Post that she was in charge of the firm's social media presence and she had recently flagged an employee's social media use.

"They said, "We're separating from you, '" Briskman told The Huffington Post".

Akima's social media policy warns that posts containing "discriminatory, obscene, malicious or threatening content" can lead to employees being fired, according to The Washington Post.

"So they were calling flipping him off 'obscene, '" Birskman told the Huffington Post.

Akima, a holding company of multiple construction, technology and operations firms, does work with the USA government. In the aftermath, HuffPost reports, Briskman was sacked from her job.

Virginia is an employment-at-will state, meaning employers can fire people anytime and for any reason.

Because Akima is a government contractor, the photo could hurt the company's business, Briskman said they told her.

An Akima representative said the company would email a statement about firing Briskman, but hasn't done so by the time of publication. "I'm thinking, 'DACA recipients are getting kicked out". "I'm angry and I'm frustrated". He pulled ads for open for open enrollment in Obamacare.

Briskman said that that day on her bike was not something that she had planned, but she had been increasingly frustrated with Trump's behavior and his performance (or rather, lack thereof) as the leader of this country.

According to Juli, who was unhappy with the policies of Donald Trump, her blood started to boil seeing Trump's motorcade and she raised her middle finger towards him. Only one-third of Puerto Rico has power.

Briskman, acknowledging that her moment of fame gave her "an opportunity... to say something", is now planning to work at an advocacy group "that she believes in".
