Samsung Galaxy S8 now available at the Microsoft Store

To recall, Samsung has infused Exynos 8895 processor in the now available Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ and Galaxy Note 8 smartphones. There are rumors that the Galaxy S9 will ship with Snapdragon 845 processor. There's no way to prove this is a Samsung phone, but the handset does have curved edges, which is a signature feature for Samsung's flagship handsets.

Apart from the fingerprint sensor, the Galaxy S9 will also be sporting dual rear cameras, which is obvious for a 2018 flagship smartphone.

According to Samsung, the new Exynos 9810 processor will be manufactured with third generation custom CPU cores coupled with gigabit 4G LTE modem with 6CA support.

A new report from a solid source says that Samsung may be indeed looking to release a Galaxy S8 successor earlier than expected, complete with iPhone X tricks. Samsung presented on their press release.

This could point toward a thinner design for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 8, as well as the typical camera upgrade.

What's also different is the location of the fingerprint sensor, which is positioned beneath the cameras in a more accessible spot.

The Galaxy S9 is expected to be launched earlier than Samsung's usual launch date of its S-series model and we have come over some CAD pictures showing off the Galaxy S9's curves in neon green and grey.

For a company that used to love taking risks, pushing the stylus like no other and making phablets mainstream, Samsung took an unusually long time to embrace a couple of recent smartphone market trends.

Both rear cameras sport optical image stabilisation (OIS) to help produce clear photos - even in low-light. The unlocked version of the S8 retails for $725, while its bigger brother will set you back $825 - the same as on Samsung's website.

This new flagship will reportedly boast a foldable OLED display.
