Dave Chappelle premering two Netflix specials on New Year's Eve

While the special was filmed a while back, it wouldn't be surprising if Chappelle's commentary still stings a lot of Americans, particularly with Congress passing the tax bill, which doesn't seem to represent the interest and welfare of the lower class.

This will mark the comedian's third and fourth comedy specials set at Netflix for this year as part of a wide-ranging deal.

Comedy Central will ring in the new year with a Chappelle's Show marathon, which ran on the network from 2003-2006.

In one NSFW clip, Chappelle aims his jabs at the "poor whites" who helped elect Donald Trump during the 2016 election.

Chappelle has enjoyed an incredibly fruitful relationship with Netflix, releasing two stand-up specials with the platform earlier this year. I listened to them say naive poor white people things: 'Donald Trump is going to go to Washington and he's gonna fight for us.' I'm standing there thinking, 'you dumb motherf-ker ... you are poor.

Netflix on Friday delivered a surprise New Year's treat for fans of the comedian: a second Chappelle stand-up special to air on December 31 (and his fourth with the streamer overall). And I've never seen so many of them up close.

"My parents did just well enough so I could grow up poor around white people", he says in the teaser trailer.

"I felt sorry for them", he continued. The previous specials, Deep in the Heart of Texas: Dave Chappelle Live at Austin City Limits and The Age of Spin: Dave Chappelle Live at the Hollywood Palladium, are both now available to stream on Netflix.

Heads up, Dave Chappelle fans. For those of us staying in on New Year's Eve rather than going out, it might be a good idea to bring in the new year with some laughs. What do you think about his change of opinion regarding Trump?
