Salah has enjoyed a sensational start to his Liverpool FC career after scoring 17 times in 21 games in the Premier League this season.

Liverpool's Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah was awarded, in Accra, Ghana where the CAF 2017 ceremony was held.

"We deserved that, everyone saw that and I am very happy and very excited for the World Cup and I am very sure we are going to do something special at the World Cup".
