Trump moves back his 'Fake News Awards,' citing high interest

The president initially said he would be announcing the accolades this Monday, and didn't give a reason for the change.

Noah, Colbert and all other nominees won't have to wait much longer, as the President plans to announce all the winners this coming Monday at 5 p.m. EST.

Tapper cut off the interview with Miller, accusing the White House adviser of being "obsequious".

Trump says he'll give out the awards on January 17, but the White House hasn't said much about them. "Stay tuned!", he wrote.

The 71-year-old said he would be handing out his "dishonest media" awards in various "fake media" categories, ranging from "dishonest" to "bad reporting".

Trump has regularly slammed the coverage of his campaign and time in the White House.
