Celebrity Big Brother champ Courtney Act takes final swipe at Ann Widdecombe

The victor of Celebrity Big Brother 2018 will be performing in Glasgow in her first public appearance since winning the reality show.

And celebrating the win, Del Rio, had some choice words about Widdecombe. None other than Courtney Act - and the person who came in second behind her was Ann Widdecombe, the very same "Anti-Gay Politician" from that headline. It doesn't matter how old you are, if you're racist you're a racist.

Once inside, he gives Courtney a hug and says: 'You are my worthy victor, okay.

Courtney Act bonded deeply with housemate Andrew Brady. "If you're homophobic, you're homophobic". She said "From the chanting tonight I heard Courtney had a huge amount of support".

"And I guess coming to the house is validation that it's OK to be different", Courtney added.

"It was fine while I was in there", reflected Ann on her experience and said there was "noise all the time" in the house and she didn't like being woken up by pop music first thing in the morning.

"I learned that it's okay to be different". "I'm thoroughly bemused, apparently I'm the runner up in Celebrity Big Brother!" she said.

On winning the series, Courtney/ Shane revealed: "This is just unbelievable!"

According to official stats for the final released after the show on Friday night, Courtney - aka Shane Jenek - picked up nearly half of the vote, scoring 49.43 per cent of all votes cast.

Of course, Emma asked Shane J about his bromance with Andrew Brady, which dominated much of the series.

"I was just having conversations with people about things that I'm passionate about", Courtney said.

The RuPaul's Drag Race star fast became a fan favourite in this year's round of the reality series, speaking openly and candidly about issues of sexuality and gender with the other housemates.

This is later made even more awkward when all the ex-housemates are unleashed back into the house for the evening, with India purposely striding up to Ann and telling her they should have "one hug".
