Fans file petition to ban Cris Collinsworth from calling Eagles games

Not long into his viewing experience, Long tweeted his thoughts on the job done by Cris Collinsworth, especially on the Eagles final touchdown play to Zach Ertz.

The Eagles aren't done over his Super Bowl commentary.

Eagles defensive end Chris Long made a decision to watch a rerun of Sunday's game on NFL Network Monday night.

But it's not the only expression of anti-Collinsworth sentiment. "I don't know. That ball comes loose", said Collinsworth on Ertz's touchdown.

Long also was put off by a personal critique from the former Bengals receiver, who suggested the defensive end was in charge of covering Tom Brady on an end-around pass from Danny Amendola that the wide-open quarterback dropped.

On Monday, some Eagles players, and their fans reacted to the job done by Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth.

While Long's criticism was mild, Eagles fan Damian Loatman is much more upset.

"Being a Philadelphia Eagles fan and having to listen to him constantly talk about the Patriots and hardly ever the Eagles during the game made it nearly unbearable", the petition reads.

As for the Philadelphia Eagles fans, they too expressed their displeasure with Collinsworth in the form of an online petition asking that the commentator never call another Eagles game again. His constant fawning over Tom Brady and the Patriots the entire game was disgusting, making it sound like he was a local Boston radio personality and not a commentator for a nationally syndicated football game.

On one hand, Eagles fans had a right to be annoyed during Sunday's game. "It's not me against anyone. I'm really growing to hate this website".
