Microsoft's latest Windows 10 S Insider Preview is password killer: Here's how

Microsoft's previous Windows 10 test build, 17083, included a new telemetry data utility called the Diagnostic Data Viewer.

Well, Microsoft wants to get into the action.

Microsoft's Edge browser got a fullscreen display mode (accessible with the F11 key) in the Windows Creators Update, and the latest preview build adds the ability to access the address bar while remaining in this mode.

PWAs are basically web apps that behave like native apps, able to work offline, send notifications and be installed on PCs. Keep in mind that Microsoft is yet to officially announce the dates for Build 2018, and although WalkingCat's leaks are nearly never inaccurate, you are probably better off waiting for the official announcement before making any bookings. This build is a portion of the RS4 section, which depicts the subsequent Windows 10 update the corporation has still to declare.

Some of this may be available widely in Redstone 4, the next major build of Windows 10 rumored for March or April.

Microsoft has announced the dates of its annual developer conference. Developers would be able to monetize their apps, access telemetry data, and respond to reviews and comments. PWAs will look and function the same as any other Store app, and will be packaged as an appx in Windows 10 - running in their own sandboxed container.

If the experiment is successful it may well end up on full versions of Windows too.

The support for PWAs within Windows 10 is being made possible by Microsoft adding support for newer web technologies to the OS' forthcoming EdgeHTML 17 engine. The most recent build includes all kinds of new features for power users and regular Joes alike, so let's just dive right in.

Microsoft's developers have also worked on bringing HDR video support to a wider array of machines.

Build 17093 includes a few other neat tweaks, including welcome aesthetic changes to the Game Bar and more streamlined pairing to certain Bluetooth devices, as well as security updates and a way to delete diagnostic data that Microsoft has collected about your computer.
