#Popcorn Moment- Mike Pence Lays In To The View!

The women of ABC News' "The View" took a shot a Vice President Mike Pence's Christian faith on Tuesday, mocking the former governor of IN for talking to Jesus and even calling it a "mental illness". "It is simply wrong for ABC to have a television program that expresses that kind of religious intolerance".

Vice President Mike Pence slammed ABC News Wednesday after "The View" co-host Joy Behar suggested his Christian beliefs make him mentally ill.

"As a Christian, that's just par for the course", Shepard said "You talk to Jesus, Jesus talks back".

"I am Christian. I love Jesus, but he thinks Jesus tells him to say things", she said to the other contestants.

Actress and author Candace Cameron Bure told Faithwire she felt Behar's comment was "tone-deaf" but "not a surprising one from someone who isn't a believer". "There's a difference when someone claims, 'Oh, Jesus talked to me, ' or, 'I'm listening to the Holy Spirit'".

And while this practice may have saved a lot of men from being on the receiving end of the #MeToo avalanche, Behar and her liberal sidekicks could only criticize.

Fox News commentator Jesse Watters also offered his take on the matter this morning, pointing out that Democrats like Behar are "okay with Reverend [Jeremiah] Wright speaking to Barack Obama, but they don't want Jesus talking to Mike Pence". Because, just like Vice President Pence, I too have heard the voice of God.

For Pence, his faith is completely something that guides his life. And I think when you have Mike Pence, who now puts this religious veneer and calls people 'values voters, ' I think we're in a risky situation.

"We turned it into a discussion about the criticism of value voters in this country, a criticism of Mike Pence and his faith", said McCain. Behar said hearing the voice of Jesus qualified as "mental illness". "I'm like, 'Jesus didn't say that.' Scary".

"We want to make sure North Korea understands us, and if there's an opportunity for talks that can communicate the fixed policy of the United States of America to them, the president has made it clear he always believes in talking". It's a free country.
