Free ice cream at Dairy Queen on Tuesday

Dairy Queen announced that it will giveaway free vanilla ice cream cones at all of its non-mall locations in the United States on Tuesday, March 20, to celebrate the start of spring, and to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. There are more than 4,400 US locations. Dairy Queen fans and franchises helped the company bring in almost $300,000 in one day past year, the company adds.

"Our cone with the curl on top is one of the most recognized treats in the world and that signature curl is a DQ quality test we take tremendous pride in", said Maria Hokanson, Executive Vice President of Marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation.

Spring's just a day away! Free cones will be available during regular business hours all day long.

Dairy Queen Free Cone Day 2018 is nearly here so make sure to grab some ice cream this Tuesday.

Please note, there is a limit of one cone per person.

Donations will be funneled to local children's hospitals in the network, and will stay in local communities.
