Conor McGregor Breaks Silence With Praying Emoji on Instagram

McGregor was freed by a NY judge on $US50,000 ($A65,000) bail on Friday after being charged with assault for his part in the violent attack on a bus Nurmagomedov was travelling in.

A second mixed martial arts fighter, Cian Cowley, was also charged with one count of assault and one count of criminal mischief, police said.

UFC fighter Conor McGregor has been taken to court in handcuffs after being charged with three counts of assault.

McGregor is facing some serious charges in the wake of the incident, and he has a court date scheduled for June.

The UFC released full, professionally shot video showing Conor McGregor's rampage at the Barclays Center - in which he threw around a bunch of large objects and launched a hand-truck through the window of a bus carrying MMA fighters.

The ugly scenes were condemned by UFC president Dana White, who labelled them "one of the most disgusting things that's happened in the history of the company".

"No ... no", White said on the program when asked if he would help Conor on this one.

White said earlier this week in NY that McGregor would fight again for UFC this year. But not in this situation.

On April 5, at a promotional UFC event held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, McGregor went too far.

The judge set bail at $50,000 in a package that allows McGregor to travel without restriction.

The NYPD is investigating how Conor McGregor's mugshot made its way onto the internet.

Footage emerged earlier this week, showing McGregor and his entourage attacking a bus containing fighters, including lightweight rival Khabib Nurmagomedov.

McGregor, 29, has not fought in UFC since beating Eddie Alvarez to become the first two-weight champion in the promotion.

McGregor's agent, Audie Attar, wrote on Twitter that the former two-division champ "looks forward to getting back to fighting as soon as possible".

The incident occurred after a media event ahead of UFC 223.

McGregor responded to the move by tweeting on Thursday morning: "You's'll strip me of nothing you's do nothing c****". He took time off to await the birth of his son, Conor Jack, and lost to Floyd Mayweather Jr.in his professional boxing debut last August. "I mean, this is embarrassing for the sport and obviously for the UFC", White said.

In the underbelly of a NY arena 17 months later, McGregor went wild, using a dolly, chairs and guard rails as weapons, not his fists.
