Ken Jeong jumps off stage mid-performance to help woman having seizure

It was such flawless timing: "Ken just jumped from the stage to help", audience member Heather Holmberg said in an interview with USA Today.

Holmberg told USAToday that it was at first tough for Jeong to tell what was happening, because the stage lights were in his eyes.

His representative, Michelle Margolis, declined to make additional comments beyond saying the TMZ story was "accurate".

It was a moment where time stands still. An audience member who was also an EMT assisted as well.

The "Dr. Ken" star, who gave up his medical practice to become an actor in hits like "The Hangover", sprang into action. Someone was having a crisis.

Jeong stayed beside the woman until an ambulance arrived, reported TMZ, noting she regained consciousness at the scene.

The woman was taken to the hospital and Jeong finished his set. "Great night! He is gracious and grateful". After graduating Duke University in 1990, Jeong earned a medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine five years later.

He really is "Dr. Ken".

Heather Holmberg was in the audience and tweeted that Jeong initially thought the crowd was heckling him when they asked for help for the unidentified woman.

Jeong began his career as a medical doctor, and is now licensed as a physician and surgeon in California.
