Harry and Meghan join Queen on palace balcony after Trooping the Colour

But the Queen was accompanied by the royal colonels, all on horseback: Prince of Wales, Colonel of the Welsh Guards, the Princess Royal, Colonel of the Blues and Royals, and the Duke of Cambridge, Colonel of the Irish Guards.

The British monarch celebrated her official 92nd birthday with the Trooping the Colour at Whitehall's Horse Guards Parade. The Queen turned 92 on her actual birthday on April 21.

Meghan is wearing a Carolina Herrera dress, a Philip Treacy hat, and Birks rings.

Prince Phillip, who was recently at Prince Harry and Meghan's wedding at St. George's Chapel, is instead spending the weekend privately.

This is the first time Guardsman Lall has taken part in the ceremony since he joined the British Army in January 2016.

Trooping the Colour is always a stylish event on the royal calendar, with the extended royal family gathering to celebrate the Queen's official birthday.

The royals watched a fly-past undertaken by the Royal Air Force. Eugenie, 28, meanwhile, looked lovely in emerald green, also opting for statement headwear - with a pretty floral embroidered hat to complete her look.

The Queen rode by herself in an open carriage.

Next to the Queen on the balcony were the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton who were there with their young children Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, three. The event was attended by other senior royals including the Queen, Prince Charles and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

All the royals travel in different carriages and make their way up to the balcony where they greet the audience.
