Nita Ambani steals the show with her performance at Akash-Shloka's engagement

The youngest of diamantaire Russel Mehta's children, Shloka opted for an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation for the function.

Mumbai: Mukesh and Nita Ambani's eldest son, Akash Ambani and his bride-to-be Shloka Mehta chose to go traditional for their pre-engagement bash on Thursday.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas arrived in Mumbai last week and spent the weekend at her housewarming ceremony. Mukesh and Nita Ambani are scheduled to host over 100 guests on Saturday to celebrate Akash and Shloka's engagement. The "Quantico" star was clad in a red Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla saree.

Priyanka also took to her social page to exclaim that it was lovely ceremony and gave Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta the couple her best wishes. From Ranbir Kapoor to Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra to Nick Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan to Gauri, everyone arrived with their partners at the lavish bash on June 28. At the party, Sanju actor Ranbir Kapoor wore a black and grey striped kurta and black pyjama with white colour Nehru jacket.

Grand party's highlight was Shah Rukh Khan and his Gauri Khan, who stole the show with their great looks.

Filmmaker Karan Johar and Indian former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar along with his wife Anjali Tendulkar also graced the ceremony. Talking about her sister-in-law, Isha said that she has been a part of the family forever.

The pre-engagement party was held at Ambani residence, were Bollywood wished Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta. Looking dapper, Nick Jonas complemented her rumoured girlfriend in a blue suit. She shared a picture with the happy couple on her Instagram account and wrote: "Congratulations Akash and Shloka!"
