Leaked images show Clearly White variant of Google's Pixel 3 XL

"I am not the owner of the device, I just took the pictures when I saw it", dr.guru wrote.

New alleged photos of the Pixel 3 XL suggest the third iteration of Google's flagship handset will not be much of a departure from last year's model.

A prototype of Google's Pixel 3 XL has made its way into the wild, corroborating numerous rumours we've heard so far.

The poster on XDA says that the phone has been remotely erased by Google - which jibes with the boot screen. This houses dual front-facing cameras as well as one of two speakers, with the second placed in the handset's thicker chin.

If you were a fan of the black and white (panda) Google Pixel 2 XL from past year, it unfortunately doesn't look like Google will be bringing back the design with the Pixel 3 XL.

Google to launch Pixel Stand charging dock with Pixel 3

Reference to the Pixel Stand has been found deep in the code for a new version of the Google app, so as rumors go, this one is fairly plausible. On the screen above you can see that the device boasts 4GB of Samsung LPDDR4X, and 64GB of Samsung UFS storage built-in. Where before the glass and metal sections on the back of the phone were very sharply defined, here they appear to have been able to match the color of the glass and the metal to an extreme degree - at least on this model. The dock thus converts your smartphone into a kind of Google Home device.

If Google runs with the schedule they've had in the past, they'll reveal the Google Pixel 3 at the beginning of October 2018.

Of note is that apparently the back features a single piece of glass, but the top part is glossy, while the rest is matte.

We'll surely see additional leaks concerning the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in the weeks to come.
