Plane blows 2 tires on takeoff, will attempt emergency landing

The jet made a successful emergency landing at Stewart International Airport near Newburgh, New York shortly before 4:00 pm on Tuesday.

Anthony DeStefano and his nephew watched the jet from a nearby hill.

Anthony DeStefano saw the plane descend and said it appeared to have a normal landing, with no unusual noise or other indications of a problem.

"Great job by the pilot", DeStefano said. It initially was diverted to MA. The streamer tweeted about the situation and extended "prayers and thoughts" to Post Malone while saying that he hoped the rapper's plane landed safely. The flight was bound for London Luton Airport in Luton, England. It initially was diverted to MA.

It was a hiccup in the recent string of good fortune Post-Malone has stumbled upon recently, as his latest album, performed extremely well both critically and commercially. During takeoff, two of the plane's left tires blew out. The incident sparked a massive response by emergency responders.

Fans turned up at the airport and cheered when the jet, which was carrying 16 people, touched down.

As fans of the rapper awaited news of the plane's arrival, many took to Twitter to say that their thoughs were with the crew and passengers. It landed instead at Stewart.

Rap superstar Post Malone is now in a precarious spot, aboard a private jet about to make an emergency landing. The aircraft was first reported to being making an emergency landing at Westfield Barnes Regional Airport in MA but eventually landed at the Stewart International Airport in NY. Malone, whose real name is Austin Post, is scheduled to perform at the Reading Festival in Reading, England, on Friday, according to his website.
