Apple Will Introduce The Latest iPhone on September 12

Today's leak comes less than two weeks before Apple is expected to announce its new smartphones at the Steve Jobs Theater on Wednesday, September 12. Apple usually streams its event live online but if you are unable to tune in, we'll have coverage of the day's events right here on TechSpot.

Thanks to a steady stream of leaks, rumors, and even videos, we already know that Apple is expected to launch three new iPhones this year. The iPad Pro is due for an update and rumors say Apple will replace the 10.5-inch tablet with an 11-inch model.

There's only an outline of what appears to be Apple Park as seen from above in copper (could it be hinting at a new copper-colored iPhone?) and "Gather round" below it. There are also reports Apple might be considering an "S" cycle this year.

Following the official announcement of its iPhone event slated for September 12, Apple dedicated news platform 9to5Mac has released a never-before-seen image of the next iPhone.

Every year, around the holiday season, Apple blesses their consumers with a new iPhone. It looks incredibly busy, and I'm not sure why anyone would need that much information at a glance, but the complications do look sleeker than ever. Apple will collect more than $61 billion in revenue in the September quarter, the period when the new iPhones are likely to go on sale, according to data on analysts' estimates compiled by Bloomberg. The new Apple Watch models will include larger screens that cover almost the entire front of the watch. The cheaper phone may also do away with 3D Touch and feature only a single rear camera. Both models resemble the current iPhone X. That would line up with the gold option for the iPhone XS and the gold color scheme of Apple's press invites. These will come in three screen sizes - 5.8-inch, 6.1-inch, and 6.5-inch.
