Tom Arnold & Mark Burnett Get Into Physical Altercation at Emmys Party

So it makes sense that Arnold and Burnett don't exactly, um, see eye to eye on some things. Arnold has been pressing Burnett to release recordings he allegedly has of then-Apprentice host Donald Trump saying the N-word and other terrible things on the set of the reality show.

Arnold is the host of Viceland's series The Hunt for the Trump Tapes, where he will ostensibly search for damning footage from President Trump's past.

Arnold's lawyer Marty Singer confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter there had been an altercation and maintained the producer had attacked his client. Which man started the confrontation is unclear, with both sides claiming the other party was the aggressor. Both Burnett and Arnold were allowed into the party after the situation calmed down.

The source claims to ET that Arnold had a camera crew in tow on Sunday night and allegedly heard the cameraman say, "Oh good, I got it all".

On Twitter, Arnold said Burnett choked him, while Burnett's wife Roma Downey tweeted that Arnold "tried to ambush" the couple.

"Is your TV show worth it Tom?" she asked.

Downey claims Arnold "ambushed" her and her husband, producer Mark Burnett, at a charity event.

Mr. Arnold predictably had a different take of the encounter, also taking to Twitter to offer his account.

Shortly after the incident witnessed by others in the entertainment business, Arnold tweeted out, "Mark Burnett just went ..." According to a source with knowledge of the situation, Burnett and Arnold arrived at the event held at the Lawn at Century Park at around 9:30 p.m.

The Los Angeles Police Department has not filed a report on the incident so far. He wrote, "I'm with @TomArnold, everyone". Last night, the two attended the same pre-Emmys party, and they appear to have gotten into a physical altercation over some Trump tapes. "He's okay. We gotta protect this brutal angel", he wrote.

"Mark Burnett, Tom Arnold is there anyway that we could get together and talk?"
