It's time for Chelsea to decide on Hazard future, says Sarri

According to Sky Germany, Borussia Dortmund are also interested in Hudson-Odoi, whose current contract with Chelsea expires in the summer of 2020.

Chelsea are halfway through a run of four league matches in 12 days but Sarri, who had never managed outside Italy until this season, says it is "fantastic". Cesc Fabregas is set to be a free agent at the end of the season and has been linked with leaving to join a number of European clubs in January in search of more regular playing time.

"I'm happy because he helped us to win and happy he has scored 101 goals for Chelsea, so I hope there's more to come from him".

Asked if his recent comments about wanting to be a Chelsea FC legend mean that he will extend his stay, Hazard is quoted as saying by The Sun: "I am just focused on the pitch, I will see at the end of the season".

A sticking point in talks over a new deal for Fabregas is Chelsea's policy of only offering one-year extensions to players over the age of 30, and Sarri hinted that the club's stance is too broad and inflexible.

"I want him to stay, I don't know the final decision of Cesc and the club of course".

"The second problem was Odoi, it's not a serious problem but I don't think he will play in the next match".

Responding to suggestions Chelsea have little control over the situation, Sarri told reporters: "I don't think so".

"It's a rule and so we have to respect that". Because, as you know, over 30 years the club offers only one year to renew.

Chelsea now sit fourth in the Premier League, two points clear of fifth-placed Arsenal.

Chelsea travel to Selhurst Park to play Crystal Palace on Sunday, live on Sky Sports, and Sarri admits he is wary of the Eagles after they stunned champions Manchester City at the Etihad last weekend.
