Canadian 'Fiji Water Girl' photobombs stars at Golden Globes

That woman is Kelleth Cuthbert, a.k.a. Fiji Water Girl.

Jamie Lee Curtis isn't pleased with the "Fiji Water Girl" stealing the show on the 2019 Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday.

It's a common enough occurrence at awards shows, but Jamie Lee Curtis wasn't having any of it and this certainly wasn't her first red carpet.

"Well, you have to understand the layout of the red carpet. The first meme of 2019, apparently!" she told the outlet.

Here are a few of the memes starring the Fiji Water girl.

She may be a model, but the internet has dubbed her best supporting actress for her compelling red carpet looks. "You'll travel with teams of people and spend a lot of time with them".

She does have a favorite photo of the many she appeared in Sunday: It's the one where she appears behind comic actor Jim Carrey.

"This is something I would go viral for", she added.

Hundreds of memes and comments are now circulating on Twitter in celebration of "Fiji Water Girl".

Now, people are saying her hilarious photobombing stunt at the Golden Globes will get her far. In a move no one could have predicted, "Fiji Water Girl" proved the unlikely star at this year's Golden Globes.

The Golden Globes is known for glitz and glamour, and this year was no different.

For the moment, it's Cuthbert, a former Toronto social worker, who's the celebrity: the post-awards media blitz found her appearing on Good Morning America on Tuesday morning and heading off to Inside Edition after talking to the Star.

She's married to photographer Christopher Von Steinback.

Since she's gained recognition after posing on the red carpet, Cuthbert's Instagram following has skyrocketed, going from about 53,000 followers (via Us Weekly) to a whopping 99,600 followers at the time of this writing.

Vaughn Davis, the owner of Auckland advertising agency The Goat Farm thought the "guerilla styled" marketing campaign by Fiji Water was a master stroke. We'll see! I think all of this stuff is very fleeting.
