New twist in Ariana Grande 'barbecue grill' tattoo saga

Big news on the Ariana Grande bad-tattoo front: Ariana Grande tried to fix her bad tattoo, and she somehow made it worse. "But this spot also peels a ton and won't last so if I miss it enough I'll suffer thru the whole thing next time", the 25-year-old wrote.

"RIP tiny charcoal grill", she added.

"Slightly better, thanks to my tutor for helping me fix and to @kanenavadard for being a legend, and to my doctor for the lidocaine shots (no joke)", Grande captioned an Instagram Story video Thursday, which showed her revised ink.

Grande was quick to make light of the situation, remarking that she's a "huge fan of tiny bbq grills" and that she stopped short of inking the full phrase due to pain in a series of now-deleted tweets.

Some were ironically sympathetic: "Met with all the Asians, and our official ruling is that the Ariana Grande tattoo is good", wrote Twitter user Kevin Nguyen. He posted a photo of Grande's tatted-up hand to his Instagram on Tuesday and tagged the singer, writing, "If you didn't know, @arianagrande is a G".

Her tutor had advised her to add the Japanese character for "finger" so that it would change the translation to "seven finger circle" or "seven rings".

Now, Ari posted the corrected spelling on her Insta Story, and it looks great, only it sounds like she preferred the first version's look better.

But Grande included the new character below the original tattoo with a drawing of a heart, instead, which resulted in the ink making even less sense than the original. "Miss u man. I actually really liked u (sic)".

But any hopes she had of correcting the error has yet to be fruitful as now the addition to the work translated reads, "Japanese BBQ finger".
