Manchester bombing was retaliation to attacks on Syria, says jihadi bride

Begum left Britain for Syria at 15-years-old to support the terrorist group, but now wants to return to the United Kingdom despite admitting she has no regrets.

Islamic State bride Shamima Begum said Western air strikes against Syria were a "fair justification" for the Manchester Arena suicide bombing in which 22 innocent people died.

The family of a British teenager who ran away to join the Islamic State group and now wants to return to the United Kingdom said Sunday she has given birth to a baby boy.

In her interview with the BBC, she said the deaths of 22 innocent people in the terrorist attack on an Ariana Grande concert in 2017 were akin to the "women and children" being bombed in IS territory in Baghuz. It's one thing to kill a soldier that is fighting you, it's fine, it's self-defence.

"I just was hoping that maybe for me, for the sake of me and my child, they let me come back", the young woman said.

"It's kind of retaliation", she told the BBC. "Their [Isis's] justification [for Manchester] was that it was retaliation, so I thought, 'OK, that is a fair justification'".

The 41-year-old actor added: "I don't understand what's going on there".

The rebuttal took a turn when Shaun began to insist that British Muslims shouldn't expect Britain to support them once they've fled to fight alongside Isis. "They weren't causing any harm".

The row comes after home secretary Sajid Javid warned he "would not hesitate" to prevent the return of British migrants who travelled to join Islamic State.

She told the BBC she is ready to face prison if she is allowed to return to the United Kingdom with her baby.

The EastEnders star said the runaway schoolgirl must have been "lost within her soul" to go to Syria.

"I believe that America gives second chances".

At the time when she left, her family pleaded with her to come home and in an interview with BuzzFeed, her father said she had been "brainwashed".

Now key questions remain - will she be allowed to return and can she readjust?

Ms Foley, taking a moment to consolidate herself, answered: "She has no idea, obviously".

The newspaper says Muthana, during her time with ISIS, lived in their once-stronghold of Raqqa and was married to jihadists from Australia, Tunisia, and Syria - the first two of which have been killed in battle.

"I'm a 19-year-old girl with a new born baby".

The mother-of-three, who gave birth to her third child at the weekend, left east London with two friends in 2015 to join the terrorist group.

Home Secretary Sajid Javid, who oversees immigration, wrote in the Sunday Times he would "not hesitate" to prevent the return of Britons who travelled overseas to join IS.
