Mortal Kombat 11's Closed Beta features 5 characters

Those who pre-ordered Mortal Kombat 11 will be able to crush their opponents starting next week, on March 28, when the Closed Beta stage is set to begin. The character originally debuted as a secret fighter in the second Mortal Kombat game and became playable in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.

Once known by the name Bi-Han, and the original Sub-Zero, Noob Saibot was a cold-blooded assassin, corrupt from years of violence and evil.

Interestingly, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa reprises his role as Shang Tsung from the film, and he looks pretty awesome.

The return of the ninja who carries the distinction of having the coolest real-world backstory in the whole MK franchise was revealed Friday at NetherRealm's "Making of Mortal Kombat" panel at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2). But, unlike Shang Tsung, this fighter will be part of the game's main roster. We will also get to see the Custom Character Variation System that will allow platers to choose some cosmetic option for their cahracters.

Mortal Kombat 11 is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on April 23.
